Dori's classic dance moves - is that the Charleston? The Jitterbug maybe? No matter the dance, she was having a great time!

I think Steve started it - or maybe Scott, I don't know - but the girl never stirred! Through the straws and us laughing hysterically at her, and more straws... Never stirred!

The finished product! Ah Liz! One of your proudest "sleeping it off" moments!

Welcome to The Wynn! the most beautiful hotel in Las Vegas - as far as we were concerned anyway!

These were the flowers lining the walkway that I mention in the previous post. Only 4 pictures to a posting I guess! So pretty?

This was one of my two favorite features at The Wynn. The colorful silk parasols suspended from the ceiling. They were right above the open area where you could watch the "wall of water" that is pictured a few posts down. They were really just gorgeous. I couldn't take my eyes off of them, and I kept wandering back to look at them. The colors in these pictures doesn't do them justice.

The other of my favorties was this tiled floor and the flowers lining the tiled walkway. The tiles were tiny and the colors just vibrant and the whole walway was lined with the flowers that you see in the bottom picture. Liz and I weren't convinced that they were real, because there were so many of them and the colors were so bright - not to mention a wilted petal among them. Then we saw a garden maintenance person with a mobile cart with water in it watering all the flowers. We were blown away and actually had to go touch the flowers to convince ourselves. It was beautiful!

The decorations just continued to impress all the way through the hotel. The Wynn was gorgeous and no detail had been overlooked, and seemingly, no cost spared.

These were the water features at The Wynn. The were the least exciting of all of the beautifully decorated hotel - and these waterfalls are not that bad! The bottom two pictures were the wall of water that you could watch from your dining table on the patio or from many choice location in the hotel. By the way Jason, did you ever find out for Liz who Steve Wynn was? ;)

Treasure Island, Harrah's, and New York, New York - which was where we stayed. Jason and I had a really pretty room, and a great view.

We ate at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill for lunch the day we left. We were very excited, and the food was ok. It wasn't great. It would probably be better to go for dinner and get steak, but the lunch menu didn't really offer anything that was meaty enough to get a real taste for Bobby Flay's cooking style (we think!) and our dining experience left something to be desired. Nicely decorated though.
